In accordance with Ontario Government COVID requirements–all visitors over 11 years of age entering LTMS grounds must…

(a) need to show proof of double vaccination for COVID-19 ( copy of double vaccination receipt) or

(b) proof of negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test from no more than 48 hours before entering site or

(c) a written Doctor’s note of medical exemption from receiving the vaccine.

COVID protocols will be in place with social distancing, mandatory mask wearing, sanitizing, contact tracing and group size restrictions in place.

The Lakehead Transportation Museum Society (LTMS) is a non-profit registered charitable organization dedicated to the collection, restoration, preservation and display of transportation artifacts ( including historical records) of Thunder Bay ( former pioneer cities of Port Arthur and Fort William) and the surrounding area.

We appreciate the interest of the public in helping us preserve and collect artifacts through donations.
